Monitoring the installation
Collecting data from a groundsource installation in operation provides information on temperatures, pressures and flows and gives insight in the functioning of the system and it's efficiency.
The monitoring data is used to verify the design versus actual usage, to troubleshoot and to confirm energy savings. Evaluation of monitoring data will allow the end user to modify the operating strategy when for instance building usage and internal loads change.
Monitoring the wellfield
Monitoring can also be extended to measurements in separate observation wells or taking groundwater quality samples when BHE wellfields are installed in environmentally sensitive areas.
Monitoring of wellfield temperatures might not be restricted to a single groundsource installation, but could involve large scale developments, with long term temperature effects on the feasibility and performance.
Monitoring reports
Groenholland provides installation monitoring as a part of the turnkey package. Clients receive an (bi)annual report, with an overview of the key parameters of the installation and an evaluation of system performance and savings. As a standard, monitoring reports contain a fault & error log and service documentation.
